The Lean Learning Center has proudly awarded six training seats to students from Oakland University to help further their practical experience working with the concepts and practices of Lean thinking.

The Lean Learning Center generously awarded Oakland University’s Pawley Lean Institute with six training seats to their foundational learning program, The Lean Experience®®, on an annual basis for a period of three years, representing a gift value of $45K to the university. The Pawley Lean Institute at Oakland University was started by co-founder of the Lean Learning Center, Dennis Pawley to institute Lean thinking at Oakland University and provide students with the opportunity to integrate a lean specialization as part of their formal degree plan. The program works with students, schools, nonprofits, government, and industry participants to create leaders and learners in the university, public and private sectors, and community. Since its inception, The Lean Learning Center has developed a strong partnership with the Pawley Lean Institute and plans to continue collaborative efforts into the future.
